Scott S Floyd,

I found your name on "Directory of Learning Professionals on Twitter" and wanted to reach out to you. I visited your Twitter page and read through the blogs.

My name is Gomathi and I am the Market Development Manager for EnglishCafe. We are currently in beta and could use some feedback on the site. Will you help us out by giving us a quick peek or tweet? In the very near future, we will be launching a program where Tutors can make money on our site as well. I may circle back to you when that launches as well.

Can we touch base soon?

Hi Scott,

I think I found you, meaning, were you the person who left a comment on the District Administration blog, The Pulse: Education's Place for Debate, in reaction to Gary Stager's comments about the Texas district allowing teachers/staff to pack?
I'm trying to find the right Scott S. Floyd, and I think you are him. If so, we want to run the comment in our 'letters' section of November DA, and I need to know who you are in relation to K12 education. Can you share, now? I'm running out of time. Thank you in advance!

Hi there! I was referred to your blog after twittering about integrating Tech App Teks (and embedded technology TEKS in the content area TEKS) into district curriculum. I've been assigned with the task of aligning all of the above with our district curriculum and am looking for districts that have already done this, are working on this, etc. I'd love to pick your brain about how your district aligns its technology with its curriculum if you have the time! Thanks! Kim Estes - Instructional Technology Coach - Burleson ISD.

Scott,

I have been on the TESIG list for years and always do a double-take when I see your signature. . . from WHITE OAK, TEXAS. I grew up in White Oak and have White Oak Roughneck blood! I'm now Assistant Head at St. James Day School in Texarkana where I started the computer/technology program in 1983. I've been in this business a long time and am so glad to see and read about all the innovative things you do for my alma mater.

It's a small world, so if you have any old yearbooks around (and I mean OLD. . .1962, 1963) you'll find me. Name was Darrellene Havins. I now answer to Dee Miller.

Love your blog!
